Logan Marconi’s practice focuses on issues of existence and spirituality, particularly as this relates to immanence and transcendence, the meaningfulness of the self in the world, and the relationship of individual to environment. His work draws upon various influences from Eastern and Western religious canons, both historical and contemporary, whose primary aim is the expression of a sacred reality. These influences combine to examine the capacity of landscape imagery to express a felt, sense of sacredness in the world by coalescing abstraction, representation, and illumination.
